A little context please...
I'm a freelance product designer currently collaborating with Topflight Digital, a software development agency, to shape intuitive, engaging web and mobile experiences. My work is driven by an advocacy for market research and creative experimentation—transforming complex challenges into elegant, user-centred solutions.
Professional life
My design journey began while studying Law. I learned how legislators meticulously craft language to shape policy, which sharpened my understanding of the subtle psychology behind word choices and their impact on decision-making and outcomes.
Studying Law honed my research skills by demanding meticulous investigation, critical analysis, and careful attention to detail. Dissecting case studies, statutes, and legal precedents taught me to question assumptions and draw evidence-based conclusions. Negotiating and debating sharpened my ability to handle pushback, and defend ideas with well-founded reasoning.
After graduating, I sought a role that allowed me to merge my research skills and creative aptitude. Product design became that perfect intersection, enabling me to craft solutions that are as visually compelling as they are functionally robust. I’m particularly excited about legal tech, where my background in law and passion for user-centred design converge to simplify complex systems and enhance accessibility.
Personal life
When I’m not designing, you’ll find me fueling my creativity by sketching new artwork, practising piano, hiking the scenic trails of the Lake District, or planning my next cultural city break!
